Women in Localization‘s Carrie Livermore Fischer, GALA‘s Allison Ferch and Nimdzi Insights‘ Josef Kubovský are going to have their work cut out judging the EUATC Association Initiative of the Year Award.
By the time the deadline passed last week, nominations had been received from LSC associations in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and The Netherlands.
This special award is part of the annual language industry awards organised by Association of Translation Companies with the winner being announced at special Awards dinner on Thursday, 21st September in London.
Christos Ellinides, acting head of the European Commission’s Directorate-General Translation, will present the winner with the Award.
The dinner is one of the key social networking events of the The Ethical Business Summit, the ATC’s annual conference, which is being co-organised by the EUATC.
