The Finns fly back into conference mode

After an enforced COVID break, the EUATC's Finnish members SKY mounted its first in-person conference last month in more than two years.

SKY President Erik Miller (left) reports that SKY organised the #KIELI (language) conference in Helsinki on 9 September.

The theme was growth stories examined from various perspectives by a diverse line-up of speakers from Finland and abroad.

“We also hade a lunch-time panel with the presidents of the EUATC’s Swedish, Finnish, Estonian and Lithuanian members.

“There were some 70 attendees from Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden. The programme was warmly received and there was no hesitation about agreeing that the next conference will take place in Helsinki in September 2023.

Concluding his round up of SKY news, Erik Miller said, “In the autumn we will organise webinars and seminars once a month and our autumn GM will take place in November.”
