Slovakian association elects all-female leadership team

The EUATC's Slovak member, the Association of Translation Companies of Slovakia (ATCSK) has elected an all-female leadership team.

Katarína Absolonová, CEO of ASAP Translation (left) and Maja Novković, exe localization‘s Business Development Manager (centre) have been elected to the roles of President and Secretary respectively.

Katarína will take over from Michal Kmeť (right), founder and CEO of Otago Translations, who held the post of President for three successive terms. Speaking as he handed over to the new team he said:

“I am pleased to hand over the association baton. The association has grown in recent years by several members, launched new activities and acquired financial resources for future activities and development.”

“I am especially proud that we have elected the first all-female leadership of the association!”

“I wish the newly elected President Katarína Absolonová and Secretary Maja Novković much success in their work for the association. I believe that thanks to their wisdom and energy, ATCSK has a bright future.”
