Meet Central Europe issues call for papers

Meet Central Europe (MCE), a regional event originally established by four EUATC members, has issued a call for papers.

The conference’s content committee has identified four broad areas in its call for papers to populate the event’s programme. The conference takes place in Prague from 14th to 16th October and the broad areas of interest for paper proposals are:

  • Technology and the power of GenAI – adapt and adopt
  • The “buy-side”, that is, end-clients are all you need
  • Language Service Companies – differences, similarities, and new insights
  • Talent management

MCE board member Miklos Ban (left), who is also President of the EUATC’s Hungarian member, Proford, said: “We are looking for fresh ideas, engaging speakers, and interactive sessions that allow the audience to think together. We want MCE to be a conference that provides value to its participants, takeaways that shed new light to old problems, attack new challenges, or alleviate future concerns. But MCE is not just a conference, it’s also a community. Our yearly gathering is a place for learning, debating, brainstorming, networking and getting inspired.

He concluded by saying: “We are hoping people will bring their best ideas and share interesting insights, experiences and stories. Be interactive; be provocative, but above all, be actionable!”
