EUATC founding members, the Association of Translation Companies (ATC) has launched a new website which reflects its forward-thinking stance and offers a wealth of information about the language sector’s leading professional body.
The spirit of collaboration is alive and well in central Europe. Two EUATC members, Austria's AATC and Hungary's Proford have joined forces with European Association for Technical Communication (tekom Österreich & tekom Magyarország) and Károli Gáspár University to create Information Delivery by Apps & Co taking place in Vienna on 28th May.
EUATC member, the Association of Translation and Interpreting Companies in Romania (AFIT) is joining forces with Association of Professional Interpreters and Translators in Romania (APIT) and DGT to organise a seminar examining the likely impact of GDPR on translation companies and freelance translators.
You would have thought that, when four of the EUATC's national association members get together, sacrifice their own events in order to create a single brand new language industry conference, that would be a good enough reason to be heading for Meet Central Europe (MCE) taking place in Budapest, October 30/31.
A decision by the Grants Committee of the EUATC board to provide financial support to the inaugural Meet Central Europe conference taking place in Budapest 30/31 October, was unanimously endorsed at the European umbrella group's General Meeting held in Madrid following T-UPDATE2018.
The 2018 study of the European language industry conducted jointly by the EUATC, Elia, FIT Europe, GALA and LINDWeb shows a continuing confidence in future trading prospects following last year's study.
