EUATC founding members the Association of Translation Companies (ATC) has chosen the World Heritage site of Greenwich in the South East of London and on the banks of the River Thames as the venue for the 2019 Language Industry Summit taking place this month from 18th to 20th September.

The site, which includes the iconic Royal Naval College, the Royal Observatory and the clipper the Cutty Sark, gives its name to Greenwich Mean Time.

Speaking about the site and a new look conference ATC Chief Executive Raisa McNab said: "The venue’s amazing, the company’s great and the programme is not to be missed. It includes a look at the accelerating M&A trends within and outside the language services industry. The use of automation, AI and MT in innovation and as an enabler of global communications are other topics that I’m really looking forward to. Alongside the main programme, we continue our Small Business initiative, with focused, business-led sessions and case studies for building your business. We’re also planning a whole new concept for technology and partner showcases, ditching the traditional tools demos."
