EUATC NETWORK MEMBER SCORES SOCCEREX CONTRACT

EUATC network member Intonation based in Hampshire, a southern area of the UK, has been announced as the Official Language Services Partner of next month's inaugural Soccerex Europe event in Oeiras, Portugal.

Taking place from 5-6th September, in partnership with the Oeiras Municipality and the Portuguese Football Federation, Soccerex Europe will bring together more than 1,500 representatives of clubs, leagues, federations and related companies to discuss the sector, strengthen ties and continue to develop commercial growth within the game.

As Official Language Service Partners, Intonation will be responsible for providing English<->Portuguese simultaneous interpreters to translate for key speakers including football legends, Louis Saha and Christian Karembeu, representatives from the Portuguese Football Federation, FIFA and The Football Association, plus many more. 

As well as helping to ensure the event is accessible for all, Intonation will also be exhibiting at the event, showcasing the company's 30 years experience of working in the sports sector.

Commenting on the announcement, Intonation Managing Director and vice-chair of EUATC founding members the Association of Translation Companies (ATC), Dan Peachey, said: "We are extremely excited to have been named as an Official Language Services Partner for such a prestigious international event.
