This year is set to be bigger, bolder and better than ever, exploring cutting edge and current subject matters including the use of automation, AI and MT in innovation plus a look at the accelerating M&A trends within and outside the language services industry. The event promises to employ technologically advanced partner showcases moving away from traditional demo tools into a new era of Summit presentations.
The ATC has continued to champion the progress and growth of small businesses, and in addition to our main programme we continue our Small Business Initiative, with focused, business-led sessions and case studies for building your business.
A host of prestigious speakers – true experts in their field – will share their experiences and impart their knowledge in a series of talks across both days. These include Judy King, Innovation Director at BBC Monitoring, Sarah Rench, Senior Leader in Advanced Analytics, Robotics and AI at EY, and Jessica Rathke, Managing Director at Localisation Sales and Marketing. Our membership team and Council Members will also be on hand to discuss the ATC's current and future initiatives and lobbying efforts in a time of great change.
On Thursday 19 September we tackle new perspectives on old challenges, with a focus on M&A, and invite delegates to recharge their business batteries and discover fresh opportunities. Come the evening we have a wonderful gala dinner and awards ceremony aboard the iconic Cutty Sark, with an evening of great food, our prestigious Language Industry Awards and a once-in-a-lifetime party with the ATC's resident DJ, Vice-Chair Dan Peachey.
Friday 20 September sees the discussion extend to AI and MT in innovation, LSP specialisation and a host of topics surrounding growing your business through sales on a smaller budget and the big reveal of the UK Language Industry Survey results – an industry insight not to be missed.
CEO Raisa McNab looks ahead to the event, “This year’s Summit is about coming together as a community and looking ahead to the opportunities and challenges the language services industry faces in the years to come. Change is certain, and evolution is the key to keeping your business relevant. It’s exciting times we live in!”
