Heike Leinhäuser, President of Qualitäts-Sprachendienste Deutschlands (QSD) said: "It is a honour that Germany has been selected as this year's spotlight country for the second Meet Central Europe conference. I had the pleasure of being present at the inaugural event held in Budapest last year and saw for myself that the event has filled a gap in the language industry calendar - particularly with its focus on vendor managers. The event offers a wide variety of content which will be presented by recognised language industry thought leaders. The format has been designed to maximise the opportunities for delegates to meet fellow professionals and exchange ideas. I am confident that there will be a strong contingent from Germany and that many long term and productive business relationships will be forged."
As with the inaugural event, the International Translation Technology Terminology (TTT) conference a two-day event based in Slovenia and established in 2012 attracting linguists, LSP representatives and academics from across Europe, will develop the MCE technical strand. TTT had run continuously till 2017 until it became an MCE conference partner last year.
