GALA and EUATC sign MoU

Two of the world's longest established industry organisations, the Globalisation and Localization Association (GALA) and the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC) have formalised their longstanding collaborative relationship with the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding.

The MoU sets out both organisations’ goals of working together on projects of mutual concern and for the benefit of the language industry as a whole.

Commenting, Allison Ferch, GALA Executive Director said: “The EUATC and GALA are already informal partnersbecause we have a tradition of collaboration and of helpingone another in different ways. We’re pleased to formalize this supportive and practical relationship with a Memorandum of Understanding.”

Agreeing,EUATC President Heike Leinhäuser said: “Sometimes it is easy to take our strategic partners for granted and having a Memorandum of Understanding in place ensures there is a legacy for future EUATC board members, who may not have enjoyed the shared experience of working with GALA in the past.”
