The board of CNET took the difficult decision to pull the plug on the event two weeks before its was scheduled to start on September 24 in Lyon.
“The rapidly rising number of COVID-19 cases in France forced the issue,” said Julien Demarty, CNET President, pictured. “It would have been irresponsible for us to press ahead with our general meeting, which would have been aboard of boat and the land-based conference. The safety of our delegates, our team and the hotel staff had to come first.”
