EUATC webinar to reveal the secret of a happy and productive life for freelancers and Project Managers

The EUATC's February webinar focuses on how Project Managers and their freelance suppliers can avoid the most frequently committed seven deadly sins.

The webinar, which takes place on Thursday, 11th February from 16:00 till 17:00 CET will be led by Levent Yildizgroen, MD of TTC wetranslate.

Talking about his topic he says: “All relationships need to be worked on if they are to succeed – none more so than the one that exists between the freelance translator and Project Manager. It is a vital symbiotic link in the language industry supply chain, that needs nurturing if it is to be productive. When there’s a breakdown in communications a translation project can quickly spiral out of control and relationships of trust can soon disappear. The pitfalls, or as I call them the seven deadly sins for freelancers and Project Managers, can be avoided. It is surprising how often they are not though.”

Levent, who has written and lectured extensively on this topic, also created the annual Translation Challenge, an event that brings together language students to give them real-life translator experience in a business setting, helping to nurture and support future talent for the sector.
