EUATC to be at European language industry top table

The EUATC’s EU Ambassador and a former EUATC President, Dr Mirko Silvestrini will represent the association. The term at the EU’s top language industry table is for the next six years.

LIND is made up of influential language industry representatives and meets three or for times a year in Brussels.

It has contributed to:

• the Translating Europe Forum (TEF)
• the European Skills, Competences and Occupations Classification (ESCO)
• the selection of European Master’s in Translation (EMT) programmes
• the European Language Industry Survey (ELIS)
• pilot projects to introduce tools and techniques to translation students.
