EUATC signs partner agreement with Canadian association

Canada’s Association de l’Industrie de la Langue (AILIA) and the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC) have signed a partner agreement.

Both organisations have agreed to support each other with a programme of cross promotion of each other’s initiatives, while providing their members with discounts to participate in each other’s events.

“The strategic alliance will foster a culture of sharing best practice and market intelligence, as well as offering opportunities for collaboration,” said Robin Ayoub, President of AILIA.

Heike Leinhauser, President of the EUATC commented, “Our strategic objective has been to develop productive agreements with other like-minded umbrella groups across the globe. I am delighted that our 24 national association members and, through them our 640 Network Members, now can turn to the Canadian association as a trust partner. We look forward to working with AILIA.”
