EUATC signs partner agreement with Argentina’s AASL

The European Union of Associations of Translations Companies (EUATC) has signed a partner agreement with a second Argentinian language group. The new agreement is with the Asociación Argentina de Servicios Lingüísticos (AASL).

AASL President María José Alberto, President​, pictured, said “AASL is delighted to partner with EUATC and to foster the translation industry with such a prestigious European organization.”

The EUATC has been actively pursuing a strategy of reaching out to other language industry groups. Last year it signed partner agreements with Translated In Argentina (TinA), the Association of Language Companies (ALC), Association of Professional Translators, Interpreters and Translation Companies of Kazakhstan (APTIC). In addition, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Moscow Translation Club (MPK) in support of it’s stated intention to form a Russian Association of Language Service Companies.

Commenting, Heike Leinhäuser, President of the EUATC said: “We are delighted to have formed this partnership with the AASL and look forward to adding value for our members and network members as a result.”
