The EUATC’s Academic Ambassador Juanjo Arevalillo forges connections with academic institutions, advises EUATC national associations on industry-academic collaborations, and works to foster the next generation of language specialists.
EMT Network and Beyond
The EUATC is a closely associated with the European Master’s in Translation network and its work in improving the quality of translator training in Europe. The EUATC also endorses the EMT Competence Framework which outlines the key skills professional language specialists need.
Not limited to collaboration with universities within the EMT network, the EUATC and its national association members also closely cooperate with other universities across Europe.

The EUATC’s network of national associations of language service companies extends to 19 European countries. The EUATC’s national associations collaborate directly with universities within their country through industry talks, co-creation of academic training and to promote careers in language services.
