EUATC family expands

The European Union of Associations of Translations Companies (EUATC) has gained an additional member. The Association of Lithuanian Translation Companies (ALTC) has become the twenty third member of the European umbrella group representing the interests of language service companies.

ALTC was admitted following during the EUATC’s recent General Meeting held in Brussels and following a presentation via a video link by ALTC President Dainius Sabaliauskas, pictured left.

The Lithuanian association, which was founded in 2010, currently has eight members. Commenting Dainius Sabaliaukas said: “Our members are really pleased to be joining the EUATC family. Our association and members will benefit hugely by being part of this European network and being able to take advantage of the strong voice it provides for LSPs, especially in conversations with the European Commission.”
