EUATC and ATC collaborate on Summit event

The EUATC is collaborating with one of its founder members, the Association of Translation Companies, to organise a first joint event together.

The Ethical Business Summit, taking place in central London 21 – 22 September, will not only set out what defines ethical, sustainable business practices for language service companies, presenters will also show how to build and grow a successful business while doing good for the environment, teams, clients and suppliers

Talking about the collaboration, Heike Leinhäuser, President of the EUATC, said: “We are tremendously excited about working with one of our founding and largest members.

ATC conferences are always stimulating and attract industry leaders from both the UK and across the world. We will be encouraging EUATC Network members from the rest of Europe to attend this important event, as well as bringing other European influences to the programme and the awards. In an uncertain world the Summit theme of doing business ethically could not be more relevant.

Commenting Ruth Partington, Chair of the ATC said: ” We are absolutely delighted to be working with EUATC this year for our ATC Conference.  As the dust settles after Brexit and the global pandemic, we are starting to understand the landscape better and the evidence points to an ever greater need for us to be collaborating and supporting each other.  I am excited to see how we come together to share our thoughts on doing business ethically and how we might create a truly Pan-European approach across the whole language industry eco-system.
