He declared that one of his goals while on the Elia steering committee is to improve communication about the language industry.
“Our industry is a wonderful place to work. Not only is it cutting-edge, innovative and indispensable to the global economy, but it is also characterised by extreme openness and a free flow of ideas,” emphasises Eurocom CEO Klaus Fleischmann.
“At the same time, communication about our industry to the public could be better. I will therefore work with energy and passion to increase the professionalism of the translation industry and to further promote the honest and open culture in our industry.”
Fleischmann is also a leading member of the EUATC’s Austrian member the AATC.
