European Language Industry Survey website launched

With four days to go before the 10th European Language Industry Survey (ELIS) opens, a dedicated website supporting the annual study has been launched.

The stand-alone site is the launching point for those wanting to take part in the annual study. It will open on Friday, 7th January and remain open until midnight CET 31st January.

ELIS 2022 includes a number of new features. One will allow participants to choose the survey pathway that matches their role in the language industry.

Another first is that the survey is available in 16 languages for Language Service Companies (LSCs) and ten languages for freelance professionals.

ELIS is supported by the European Language Industry Association (Elia), the European master’s in Translation (EMT), the European Union of Associations of Transation Companies (EUATC), Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs Europe (FIT Europe), the Globalization andLocalization Association  (GALA), the European Commission’s Language Industry Platform (LIND) and Women in Localization (WiL).
