According to ELIS head of Research Rudy Tirry (pictured left), following this year’s ELIS study, which looked across the whole of the European language eco-system, companies expressed a strong need for more regular updates focused on the basic market performance and expectation questions.
To meet this requirement, a separate up-date survey has been created that will remain active throughout the year to monitor the market sentiment on a quarterly basis.
“Apart from the profile questions about country and size, this new survey form is limited to just two questions: ‘How did the previous quarter perform?’, and ‘How do you expect the current quarter to develop?’ says Tirry.
The survey is currently intended specifically for language service companies and only available in English. It can be accessed directly at https://lnkd.in/gssVJPnH.
The form will not be accessible during the last week of each quarter, to update the final performance results of the previous quarter and to prepare the form for the next one.
While the form is accessible, the current results can be viewed in real-time at https://lnkd.in/gzARxSvd. A summary file showing the results of all quarters will be made available in the repository and will be updated at the end of each quarter.
