ELIS, which is now in its second decade, is a collaboration between Elia, the European Masters in Translation (EMT), the EUATC, FIT Europe, GALA, the European Commission and Women in Localization.
The portal for responses will remain open until midnight CET on Tuesday, 31st January.
The survey questionnaire, which is available into up 16 languages, including, for the first time, Ukrainian, is sub-divided into four stands. These are aimed at individual freelance professionals; Language Service Companies; those working in a language department or as a buyer in a public administration or private enterprise and, finally, academic or training institutions.
Speaking about the latest ELIS edition of the research project, Rudy Tirry, lead researcher (pictured left) said:
“Last year ELIS looked at the impact of the war in Ukraine, which continues to affect the sector. With additional focus on HR matters, accessibility and company culture, ELIS 2023 will provide individuals, companies and academic institutions with a wider picture to benchmark their performance and expectations, while supporting strategic decision-making.”
A free-to-access results and analysis webinar will take place on Tuesday, 21st March from 16:00 till 18:00 CET. Respondents. to the ELIS survey may pre-register for the results webinar once they have completed the survey questionnaire.
