All relationships need to be worked on if they are to succeed – none more so than the one that exists between the freelance translator and project manager. It is a vital symbiotic link in the language industry supply chain, that needs nurturing if it is to be productive. When there’s a breakdown in communications a translation project can quickly spiral out of control and relationships of trust can soon disappear. The pitfalls can be avoided. It is surprising how often they are not though.
Levent Yildizgoren, who has written and lectured extensively on this topic, will lead the EUATC’s February webinar taking place on Thursday, 11th February 2021 at 16:00 CET.
