All relationships need to be worked on if they are to succeed – none more so than the one that exists between the freelance translator and project manager. It is a vital symbiotic link in the language industry supply chain, that needs nurturing if it is to be productive. When there’s a breakdown in communications a translation project can quickly spiral out of control and relationships of trust can soon disappear. The pitfalls can be avoided. It is surprising how often they are not though.

Levent Yildizgoren, who has written and lectured extensively on this topic, will lead the EUATC’s February webinar taking place on Thursday, 11th February 2021 at 16:00 CET.

The driving force behind the success of TTC wetranslate and an advocate for making the translation industry accountable and relevant, Levent Yildizgoren has transformed his business into a linguistic hub for clients looking to conquer new markets overseas.

A thought-leader on the future of the translation industry, he also created the annual Translation Challenge, an event that brings together language students to give them real-life translator experience in a business setting, helping to nurture and support future talent for the sector.

Levent hosts a podcast channel ‘Conquer New Market’s by Breaking Language Barriers’ which is available on most popular podcast platforms.

He has worked in the language industry for 28 years and is a serial entrepreneur, mentor, speaker and visiting lecturer at Essex University in the UK.
