Work hard and play hard. Meaning: if you work hard on building a LinkedIn profile that supports your professional brand, I guarantee that it will pay off. I guarantee it. 
 
The personal profile and subsequent professional brand is the foundation for your strategic networking (and perhaps social selling?) on LinkedIn. My argument is that you will not be taken seriously by potential contacts if you haven’t made sure that your personal profile is “spitzenklasse”.
 
What I often hear is that many find it difficult to get started. They might have a profile but they just cannot “crack the code”, so to speak. “I don’t know what to write.” I know that many Danes find it difficult to praise themselves – it might be the same for the Germans? 
 
Drawing on my experience from a long row of workshops in Denmark and Germany, I look forward to taking you through this LinkedIn MasterClass. It is my ambition that you (as a minimum) will leave the workshop with:
•The first steps of an optimised profile
•Many (!!) notes
•Inspiration to explore the wonders of LinkedIn
•A feeling of “I just want to get started now!”  
•An idea of what your connection strategy could look like
 
Structure
The MasterClass will consist of two sessions. First we will build the foundation. Secondly, we will go to the next level: becoming professional and strategic networkers.
 
1) Get a LinkedIn profile that sells
The foundation is essential if you want to make the most of LinkedIn as a personal branding and networking tool. In this session, we will focus on the steps that will help you optimise your profile: dig into best practice and secret tips & tricks. We will get to know the new LinkedIn user interface, talk about security and best practice behaviour. Exercises will be included.
 
2) Become a professional networker on LinkedIn
It takes dedication and knowledge to learn how to utilise the LinkedIn features for networking and social selling purposes. This session will include best practice and tips & tricks on how to build your relevant network; how to become and stay relevant and how to build your business via your personal profile. Exercises will be included.
