ELIS TEW Results Webinar

The results of 2026 European Language Industry Survey (ELIS) will be revealed on 17 March.

The lid will be lifted during a European Commission-backed Translating Europe Workshop webinar on Tuesday, 17th March between 16:00 and 17:30 CET.

Leading the charge will be Christos Ellinides, Director Directorate General for Translation at the European Commission. He will be providing an introductory overview.

ELIS head of research Rudy Tirry, alongside EMT’s Alexandra Krause and FIT Europe‘s chairperson John Anthony O’Shea LL.B, LL.M will take up the baton to describe the outcome of the annual study for LSCs, academia and freelance professionals be they translators or interpreters.

A panel made up from the ELIS partners, EUATC (official), Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), ELIA – European Language Industry Association and Women in Localization. Additionally, two reresentative from the language industry’s Gen Z, Siddhi Deshpande, who is studying for a Masters Etudes Interculturelles de Langues Appliquées at Université Paris Cité and Hanna-Mari Åkesson-Rämä who is studying for a translation degree at Finland’ University of Turku, will be giving their perspectives during the panel session.
