Cherie Plaice Cherie holds a BA (Hons) in Applied Language Studies (Spanish, German, Linguistics and Economics) and a post-graduate diploma in Hispanic Studies. She is also an individual member of both the UK Institute of Translation and Interpreting and the Chartered Institute of Linguists. She has previously been Honorary Treasurer of a UK association. In 1988 she established SBC Translations following a diverse career in many different industries including banking, advertising, training, entertainment and fitness. Her company specialises in translations in marketing, public relations, advertising, training and management and has been a member of the Association of Translation Companies in Great Britain since 1990 serving on their Council for the last four years.
