Eva-Maria Leitner
Graduated from the University of Vienna, Institute for Translation and Interpreting, in 1993. In 1994, she founded mss language solutions, a company specialising in natural and medical sciences, technology, medical technology, IT and telecommunications. Since year 2000, she is the elected Chair person of Austrian Translation Service Providers/ WKÖ, and since 2005 the Austrian representative to the EUATC. 2006 to present: Chair person of the Committee for Language Services, Austrian Standards Institute; head of the Austrian delegation to CEN. Currently head of the delegation to ISO; active participation in ISO TC 37, SC2, WG6. Lecturer at the Universities of Vienna and Graz; preparing a thesis on “Quality Management in Translation”. Chairs the Language Standards for Global Business summit (LSGB).
